As can be seen in the Commentary, this book was years
in the writing. There have been eight versions because it grew organically taking on a increasingly 'religious'
character. It is a thoroughly Pagan novel. It was also a novel that carried a strong Environmentalist theme because
I was very strongly of a Green persuasion - as may be seen elsewhere. Also here. I am no longer of that persuasion - quite the opposite in fact. The reason:
Al Gore and his ilk... and it is a very broad 'ilk'.
Thus the story is, yet again, in transition.
